When you first log into
your Traffic On Steroids cpanel, you'll see all the
navigation links on the left hand side...
To get started, click on the upload files link, to be
taken to the screen where you can upload the files you wish
to be rotated, from your computer directly into the data
storage file in the TOS program.
Next Simply
click a browse button and navigate to where the files
you want to upload are stored on your computer, and click
the Upload File Button. (Note, you can also upload your data
files through your ftp software directly into the data
folder inside the tos directory. This comes in handy if you
have dozens or hundreds of data files you wish to upload at
once)
Once you've got your data files uploaded, click on the
'My Rotator Sets' link to create or edit your rotator sets.
To Edit an
existing rotator, simply click on the pencil next to the
rotator you wish to edit. To create a new one, click the
'Add New Rotator Set' link at the top of the screen. Either
way you get taken to a screen that looks like this...
First name
your set so you can easily identify it in the My Sets
screen, and then add the files you wish the program to
rotate for this particular rotator set. You can simply type
them into the text area on the right hand side, or click the
"Click Here To Choose From Upload Files" link to choose from
a list of all the files in the data folder...
You can choose
Select All and then uncheck the ones you DON'T want, or just
check the ones you do want. When you're finished, click the
submit button to be taken back to complete your rotator
configuration. You'll see that the data files you picked are
now listed on the configuration screen...
Next pick the Sequence you wish to rotate your data
(Random or Sequence), the schedule you wish it to rotate on
(0 to infinity hours), pick whether or not to use the cookie
feature (server is off, user is on), and click the save
button to save your set. Your new or edited set will
immediately show up in the 'My Rotator Sets' window still
open in the background. (If you're done editing, just close
the configuration window.)
To get the codes for a rotator set, click the "View"
link for the rotator you wish to work with, under the "Get
Codes" column, and choose the codes you need to use for your
particular application...
Just follow
the instruction on the right of each section of code to get
your pages rotating data and tracking your visitors, both
locally (pages on the same server) and remotely (pages on a
different server than where TOS is installed)!
And anytime you want to check your stats, just log into
you cpanel and click on the "View Statistics" link...
Here you'll
find an incredible array of important information,
designed to help you tweak your pages and get the most out
of any Marketing Campaign! Just click any of the navigation
links on the left hand side for more detailed information.
And the most recent feature we've added is the ability
to pull your uploaded articles into a our proprietary WYSIWYG
html editor, to edit and make changes to your data file
quickly and easily, and save them back to the server, with
the click of a button!
Simply Click
on the 'Edit Files' link and chose the file you wish to work
on...
Once you
choose a file by clicking on the name of that file, it will
automatically open up into our HTML editor, ready for you to
edit...
When you're
done, just click the "Save File" button, and your edited
file will be automatically uploaded back to your server.
(You can also "Create" new data files in the editor and save
them to the data folder on your server, as well, by clicking
on the HTML editor Link in the main navigation field of your
cpanel.)
And last but not least, in the "My Personal Settings"
area, you can change the Username, Password, and
notification email address you set up during the
installation of TOS, anytime, or as often as you like!
And there
you have it! It's just that easy! And we'll be adding
new functions to Traffic on Steroids as time goes on. After
all, we've already upgraded it 4 time in the last 5 months!
And we're ALWAYS looking for new and exciting ways to make
it bigger and better than ever!
